Codabar is a linear barcode symbology developed in 1972 by Pitney Bowes Corp. It was designed to be accurately read even when printed on dot-matrix printers for multi-part forms such as FedEx airbills and blood bank forms, where variants are still in use as of 2007.

Install Codabar barcode font is a simple task.

• Install Codabar Fonts TrueType (.ttf) on Windows 95, 98, 2000 and XP
  • Open Windows Control Panel
  • Click "Fonts"
  • Click "File" menu, and select "Install New Font.."
  • Navigate to the Codabar fonts location, select TrueType Codabar font (in .ttf file format), and click "OK" button
  • Restart your computer
• Install Codabar Fonts TrueType (.ttf) on Windows Vista and Windows 7
  • Right click TrueType Codabar font (in TTF file format), and install
  • Restart your computer
• Install Codabar Fonts PostScript Font Binary (.pfm) on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7
  • Open Windows Control Panel
  • Click "Fonts"
  • Click "File" menu, and select "Install New Font.."
  • Navigate to the Codabar fonts location, select Type 1 Codabar font (in .pfm file format), and click "OK" button
  • Restart your computer
