Data Matrix is a two-dimensional (2D) barcode symbology which can store from 1 to about 2,000 characters. DataMatrix ECC200 version supports advanced encoding error checking and correction algorithms (reed-solomon). Those algorithms allow the recognition of barcodes that are up to 60% damaged.

Install Data Matrix barcode font is a simple task.

• Install Data Matrix Fonts TrueType (.ttf) on Windows 95, 98, 2000 and XP
  • Open Windows Control Panel
  • Click "Fonts"
  • Click "File" menu, and select "Install New Font.."
  • Navigate to the Data Matrix fonts location, select TrueType Data Matrix font (in .ttf file format), and click "OK" button
  • Restart your computer
• Install Data Matrix Fonts TrueType (.ttf) on Windows Vista and Windows 7
  • Right click TrueType Data Matrix font (in TTF file format), and install
  • Restart your computer
• Install Data Matrix Fonts PostScript Font Binary (.pfm) on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7
  • Open Windows Control Panel
  • Click "Fonts"
  • Click "File" menu, and select "Install New Font.."
  • Navigate to the Data Matrix fonts location, select Type 1 Data Matrix font (in .pfm file format), and click "OK" button
  • Restart your computer
